The fund, managed by David Stephenson, is primarily an asset allocation vehicle, and David takes account of economic and political factors as well as market sentiment to identify attractive investments.

The fund is monitored on a daily basis and action taken as appropriate.  The fund will take more extreme asset allocation decisions than the average Balanced Managed Fund, and this could lead to greater short term volatility.

Unlike TB Wise Investment, which has some holdings of investment trusts which are frequently traded, the Active Growth fund tends to buy and hold investments, changing them less often.

The full initial charge on the fund is 4.0%, though in practice it will normally be lower through commission sacrifice.  The annual management charge is 1.65% per annum.
